Stormwind is still intact land-wise, although supposedly drained as hell by the war. It happened with Rastakhan, who had no heirs until the plot focused on him and demanded that he has a heir in the “newcomer” Talanji, and it can happen with Danath if they decide so. Besides, should they decide some time in the future to focus again on Stromgarde and/or Danath, if that plot dictates that Danath has a heir or that he should be replaced as king of Stromgarde by a Trollbane more marketable, then one will appear. At this point is time, Stromgarde is rebuilt and firmly in Alliance hands. While thriving is obviously a stretch, being rebuilt and (supposedly) supported by the Three Hammers leaves Stromgarde in a far better position compared to the ruin that was before, if we take the Alliance controlled version of the warfront as any indication.ĭanath being old or not having heirs is besides the point. The process to get back on feet takes years, unless there is some serious outside help.
So I wonder how any nation is currently thriving atm.
Stormwind is spent, war consumed almost all of their resources. Arathi thriving? It’s glorified garrison made by Stormwind’s money, with king that has no heirs and is about to kick a bucket.
